Hey! We are the co-founders of Her Walk With Christ.
Jalynn & Britta
ββJalynn approached me one day and said that she had felt it weighing on her heart that she needed to share the love of Jesus with others, especially women. As she was talking I was kind of in shock, because I myself have been on a path to renew and strengthen my relationship with Jesus and also felt that I needed to talk about it with others, but didn't know what that would look like. The next day Her Walk With Christ became a reality! Our stories dig deeper beyond this page, and we will dive into those later, but for now here is a little about us and how we got to where we are now. π€

Hey there! I’m Jalynn!
β
I balance the joys of life with the love of my family. My heart belongs to my wonderful spouse and our adorable toddlers, who fill each day with laughter, adventure, and a touch of chaos.
β
A major life event pushed me to explore my spiritual path more deeply, where I found a deep sense of peace and direction through my faith in Jesus. My life is a testament to faith and resilience, having overcome the challenges of cancer at 27 years old with grace and strength. Through my journey, I’ve learned the power of unwavering faith, the importance of family and community.
β
Here, I share my journey, offer support, and provide inspiration to those finding their own way in their walk with Christ.
Though I’m still growing and learning, my faith has become a powerful source of strength and inspiration in my life and I can not wait to share that with you!β

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Hey! I'm Britta! (Yes... like the water filter) π

I’ve written this so many times, trying to sum up my story, and to be honest it was hard. It’s hard not to go into detail about things that had a huge impact on your life. I had about 2-3 pages written, that obviously isn’t going to fit here π so here it is in a nutshell.
I was a believer and follower of Christ as a child. I grew up attending Fayetteville Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Indiana. I have such fond memories of that church and my time there. When my parents divorced when I was 10, we had to move and eventually no longer attended that church. I then have many years of pain, heartbreak, happiness, devastation, thoughts of ending my life, having a child out of wedlock, leaving that relationship and having a child with someone else while in an emotional and verbally abusive relationship that really took a toll, finally ending that relationship and finding the man who would change my life and bring me back to Jesus.
I never stopped believing in Jesus, but I wasn’t active in my relationship. I didn’t pray, I thought that the churches were just being judgemental towards certain groups of people, I thought that the world was the way it should be, not the Bible (because I had strayed from the Bible and didn’t really know what it stood for anymore). Wow, was I wrong! I’m so glad that I have my husband to show me that Jesus is the only way. I’m currently on my walk with Christ. I’m still learning and still trying to become the person I should have been all that time but was lost. I hope that I can inspire some of you who have struggled in the past, who are struggling now, or are just now trying to find their path to Christ. Let's walk with Christ together and share the word of Jesus far and wide!

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
